This biennial was founded with the aim to help young artists gain exposure and promote interaction between the emerging artists and the public. Jiří Černický was awarded the Soros Fund Prize for his work „ Photo-Flash“. As part of the Soros Center Art Regional Program (SCARP), the exhibition traveled to the Ján Koniarik Gallery in Trnava, and the Tatra Gallery in Poprad, in Slovakia.
