Mira Gáberová and Eva Jiřička: 
Presentation of Works Holiday Art

In their project Holiday Art, Mira Gáberová and Eva Jiřička examine and innovate the collective principles of understanding and experiencing holidays and anniversaries. The artists re-interpret the cultural-sociological models, which represent the stereotypes of our collective identity. They execute ritualized celebrations, known as important aspects of the agenda of our whole society, in symbolic coordinates. They activate social relationships, observe the points of intersection of family life and public happenings, or they invite representatives of relevant social groups to participate.
